RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

When purchasing goods from Vauni, you as a consumer have the right to withdraw from the purchase in accordance with the provisions of the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59). In certain cases, you are entitled to withdraw from a purchase (right of withdrawal). The right of withdrawal means that you have the right to cancel your purchase by notifying Vauni within fourteen (14) days from the day on which you received the ordered goods (the withdrawal period).

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact Vauni by e-mail at hello@vauni.com. When contacting us, please state your order or invoice number in order to receive instructions regarding the handling of your request and whether the goods are to be returned.

When exercising the right of withdrawal, and if so requested by Vauni, the goods must be returned to Vauni without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which you informed Vauni of your decision to withdraw from the purchase.

You are responsible for any return shipping costs unless otherwise provided by applicable law.

You are responsible for packaging the goods in a manner that adequately protects them during return transport. Where possible, the original packaging should be used. You bear the risk during return shipping, including if the goods are damaged or lost in transit.

Goods delivered on pallets must be loaded on pallets when returned in order to minimize the risk of transport damage. Where pallet-delivered goods are to be returned, transport may be arranged through Vauni. The cost of such transport shall be borne by you unless otherwise stated in these Terms.

You are entitled to examine the goods to the extent necessary to determine their nature, characteristics and function.

If the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics or function, you may be liable to compensate Vauni for any reduction in value of the goods. Any deduction for diminished value shall correspond to the actual reduction in value resulting from your handling of the goods.

For products requiring installation or assembly, including fireplaces, burners and related products, a reduction in value may arise if the product has been installed, assembled or used beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and function.

Vauni reserves the right to charge for missing, damaged or otherwise value-reducing parts, accessories or components returned with the product.

When exercising your right of withdrawal, Vauni will reimburse all payments received from you in respect of the returned goods, subject to any deduction for diminished value as described above. Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which Vauni was informed of your decision to withdraw from the purchase. However, Vauni may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received back or until you have provided evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

RETURNS

Returns (whether resulting from the exercise of the right of withdrawal or from a product claim) must be packaged in a manner that adequately protects the goods during transport. Where possible, the original packaging should be used. Following contact with Vauni, alternative packaging suitable for the goods may be approved.

Goods delivered on pallets must, if returned, be loaded on pallets to avoid damage during transport. Where pallet-delivered goods are to be returned, transport may be arranged through Vauni. The cost of such transport shall be borne by you but will be reimbursed in the event of an approved claim.

Please contact Vauni by telephone at +46 300 323 310 or by e-mail at hello@vauni.com for instructions regarding the return process.

When exercising the right of withdrawal or making a claim, you are responsible for the goods until they have been received by Vauni.

In the event of an approved claim, Vauni will reimburse reasonable and documented shipping costs in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

CLAIMS FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you wish to report a defect in ordered goods, you must contact Vauni within a reasonable time from the date on which the defect was discovered, or ought to have been discovered. A claim made within two (2) months from the date on which the defect was discovered shall always be considered to have been made within a reasonable time. Claims may not be made later than three (3) years after receipt of the goods.

A claim shall be submitted by e-mail to hello@vauni.com. Please state your order or invoice number together with as detailed a description of the defect as possible.

Following receipt of a claim, Vauni reserves the right to determine whether the goods shall be returned for inspection.

If the claim is approved, Vauni will compensate you in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (2022:260). Such compensation may take the form of repair, replacement, price reduction or reimbursement of the purchase price.

Vauni inspects and tests returned goods based on the description of the defect provided by you. It is therefore beneficial if the description is as detailed as possible.

If, following inspection, the goods are found to be free from defects, Vauni reserves the right to charge reasonable costs for inspection, handling and return shipping.
